Eric Levi (Eric Jacques Levisalles)
Eric Levi was born in 1955. He lives in Paris. He's divorced and has two sons. His adventure with music has begun in 1977, when he founded the group Shakin' Street in Paris. Their first concert was at the mythical festival of Mont-de-Marsan. The next morning, Shakin' Street were on the front page of the English music magazines. This sudden fame led CBS to offer them a contract: to record their first album "Vampire Rock" in London. In 1979, the group released their second album on Columbia USA. Shakin' Street became an important part of the American rock scene. In 1981, the group split and Eric moved to New York where he worked with Marianne Faithfull and other very famous musicians.
Eric Levi appeared again in 90' as a film scores composer. He cooperated particularly with Jean-Marie Poire.

In 1997 for World Youth Festival Eric Levi composed the song "I believe". It was performed by Andrea Bocelli and released on album "Voices from Heaven". "eRa" became reality between 1995 and 1997. In first year 2mln albums were sold in France and the same quantity was producted to abroad. The album was available in 40 countries and in 7 of it more than 100000 were sold. eRa was appreciated especially in Argentina where Ameno was hit of the year and 250000 was sold. 20 February 1999 eRa got reward Victorie de la Musique for the best selling French album abroad. In 2000 Eric Levi returned to London to record second album "eRa2". This album was bought by 1,3mln people in the world and 400000 in France.
